Purr Mewsik is an R&B × Lofi hip hop singer-songwriter from the Indianapolis, Indiana, USA area with a love of cats and smooth music. She specializes in smooth R&B tones and chill vocalization infused with a touch of jazz. Her inspiration includes vocalists such as Aaliyah, Summer Walker, H.E.R., Alina Baraz, and the production stylings of Drake and chilled out lofi hip hop. She is a prolific songwriter who enjoys writing sultry lyrics as well as nostalgic and longing lyrics. Her debut was inspired by her foray into music after years of only singing in private and a life-long desire to release music professionally.
