Purr Mewsik is an indie R&B, alt R&B, and lofi hip hop music artist, singer-songwriter, and music producer from Indianapolis, Indiana. She specializes in smooth R&B tones and chill vocalization infused with a touch of jazz. Her inspiration includes vocalists such as Aaliyah, Janet Jackson, Summer Walker, H.E.R., & Alina Baraz. Her production stylings are inspired by neo-soul, trap, boom bap, and chilled out lofi hip hop. Purr is a prolific songwriter who enjoys writing sultry lyrics as well as nostalgic and longing lyrics. She's also a catgirl who enjoys anime and vaporwave aesthetic. Her singing debut was inspired by her foray into music after years of only singing in private and a life-long desire to release music professionally. She is currently producing beats in FL Studio and crafting rap bars into her latest projects.
